About

Andi is a composer, born in West-Flanders, Belgium. He has been composing since 2002 and has been experimenting with the varioust instruments. His dad's devotion to listening to French chansons on Sundays influenced him from an early age. Despite respecting music academies and music harmony theories, he decided not to attend such classes too long and became therefore a composer rather as an autodidact. In fact, he respects harmony theory so much that he tends to decide to leave them in peace. In his oppinion, it is much more important to have some more heart in the music...

"Everything that influences my emotions also influences my music no matter it being a song, a picture, an animal, a scenery or a story..." (However, some might not mind that there aren't too many tracks in his music from his passion for heavy metal...;)

Different ethnic, common and not so common instruments belong to his favourite instruments, such as: harpsichord, accordion, bodhran, cello, piano, guitar, ukulele and körtemuzsika. Andi basically composes purely for the joy of the composing itself, rather then getting famous or fans.
